  8. Daniel/4th/sterling park Elem. Punished was a very interesting book with many puns and some words you don't hear very often an example is oxymorons. It is a book that is very short with less than 99 pages and 8 chapters. I liked it a lot and it was funny. I think anyone can enjoy this book.

I love how he made the words in the pun sound like it made sence but then if you see how he spelled it, it is spelled wrong.

I found it helpful to read the book out loud to my students so that I could explain the puns. It really had me looking around for things in life (like oxymorons). I was hoping that his friend would get "pun"ished at the end of the book!

I thought that this was a good book because... of the puns and oxymorons. It makes it seems like a mystery book, but it`s not.when he got punished it seems like he dident.

I thought that "Punished!" was the most humorous book of the year. I loved the puns and palindromes, and oxymorons and anagrams. This book kind of reminded me of "The Puzzling World of Winston Breen" because of the puzzling way it is set up. My favorite character is Logan because I loved the way he handled the situation we he got "punished". I also liked the fact that his best friend, Benedict, was trying to win Student of the Month, so he could win the pizza certificate. I thought it was unfortunate when everyone got fed up with Logan's puns. He couldn't help it, and I felt sorry for him.

My favorite palindrome is "Madam, I'm Adam". I liked the palindromes the best because they were fun to see and learn about. I really, really, really, really liked "Punished!" It's a fantastic, humorous, easy-to-read book that everyone can and should read.

This is a great book. Or I should say a very punny book. It is great, the title says all I'l tell you that. I love how th author, David Lubar incorperated english in the book. It is like a very punny book and an english book at the same time. I didn't even know there was such thing like a oxymoron. Know I'm looking all over the place foR a oxymoron. I like anagramss too. I knew racecar was a anagram sinc the 2nd grade. I can't say much but you should check it out. I tried to but the book was checked out all the time. It is a short book, and if you like The Fabled Fourth Graders of Aesop Elementary you would like Punished. Plus Punished has a shorter title!

The book talk for this book was fun! I discussed the puns and oxymorons in the book and we had a lot of fun figuring out if a word could be an "anagram". What a fun book!
