ReplyDeletei liked how she follwed her dream trying to oneday reach the charnige hall. at fist look it seems odd but reading about a crooked life is better then reading about a perfect life most charecters seem to have. this book is very cute cute cute.

ReplyDeleteThis book was one of the best sunshinestatebooks I've read in along time. I liked it so much I read it in two weeks! It made me laugh out loud for sure. And the ending was terrific!!!! I would recamend this book to anyone!!!!!!!Zoe is crooked in a perfect kind of way!!!!

ReplyDeletethis book I can relate to because she wants to be a perfect pieno player but instead her life is full of ups and downs trying to get there!! I read this book in one weak and loved it so much!!!! I just can't wait to see how many of you guys read it this year.

ReplyDeleteI love this book! My favorite character is Zoe because she is dreaming of being a perfect piano player, but has a very crooked life. I liked when she got the organ, and she didn't really like it, but she went on to play at the Perform-O-Rama. My favorite part was when her dad was singing and dancing to the music Zoe was playing. That made me laugh!
It was nice to read about someone whose life wasn't all "storybook perfect". It was a wonderful story, and I finished it in one night! I couldn't put it down. The thing I liked best about this book was that the chapters weren't very long. Some of them were one sentence! That made it easier to read, and made you want to read on.
"A Crooked Kind of Perfect" definitely deserves to be a Sunshine State Book. This is probably one I'll read again. Thanks for recommending it to me, Ms. Wells!

ReplyDeleteI thought this book was so good.My favorite part was when Zoe didn't want to play the organ but she did and at the end she got a piano which was what she wanted.
My favorite character was Zoe.I like Zoe because she was very courageous.It seems like she doesn't give up on anything!This book made me laugh.I don't remember why it was funny but I remember it was funny.
I really enjoyed this one! I think Zoe's dad is so funny! My favorite part was when Zoe and her father were jumping and banging pots around the house while Zoe would put the organ on a certain type of music style. I love that the chapters are easier than most because that makes you have confidense in wanting to read on and on. I agree with Caroline, it is nice to read about a "not-so-perfect" storybook character. Zoe is just a little girl with big dreams of become a professional piaono player. But life gets "crooked" wen her dad buys her the perfectone d-60. Again, i really liked this book and i would recommened it to "crooked" girls.
ReplyDeleteI loved the book but the title only was stated in like two sen. I wish they could fix that like make a new name or something. Other than that I would recremend this book to everyone and anyone and even anything. It really was a great book. A GREAT BOOK.

ReplyDeleteyes. My favorite caracter was Zoe. My favorite part of the story was when she won 4th place in the organ compediton. It made me laugh.
