Highway Cats reminded me of how we sometimes destroy the homes of animals for our purposes. We have to always be reminded of the importance of animals in our biosphere and hold their land sacred so that they can continue to populate the Earth. In the book, I enjoyed reading how the kits became heroes and saved their land.

Hmmm... how to describe "Highway Cats"... how about funny, exciting, entertaining, unique, wonderful, amazing, and miraculously awesome! It is one of those books that paints a picture in your head automatically without thinking about it. "Highway Cats" is unique because it has talking cats, and people mixed in one book. Usually you don't get that in books, it's either talking people, or talking animals. My favorite part in the story was when Murray the Claw finally lost a bet to Shredder. I felt victorious for Shredder, as Murray usually wins.

My favorite character was Khalia Koo, because she USED to be a beautiful, loved cat, and then her owner threw her in the fire, and she had to start wearing containers over her head to hide her scars. I thought it was great that she finally realized that she shouldn't care about her scars and how she looked. She was my favorite character out of all of them.

"Highway Cats" is a fantastic book for all ages, filled with humor, adventures, fights for freedom, and potato sacks (if you read the book you'll know what I mean!) I recommend it to absolutely ANYONE! Well done, Janet Taylor Lisle (clap clap).

I liked the kittens. My favorite part of the book was when the kittens crossed the road without being killed.

Its a good book. You might read the 3 first chapter then fall a sleep but then when you keep on going it gets very interesting.
